Emails were sent out yesterday requesting support from the Pharaoh Hound Enthusiast Community for the 2011 National Specialty Trophy Sponsorships. In case you are not currently on the email mailing list, the following is the content of the email that was sent. Because the list of available trophies did not come out too well when I copied/pasted it here, feel free to email me at RStephens4@aol.com to request that I send you the file with this information, or to inquire about any particular trophies. Otherwise, you may be able to discern from what is below which trophies are already sponsored, and which are still available. An "x" indicates that the trophy, or some of the trophies in that group of trophies, are already sponsored.

Dear Pharaoh Hound Enthusiasts,
The 2011 PHCA National Specialty planning is in full swing, and a very exciting line-up of events is coming together for what promises to be a wonderful five days in Canfield, Ohio (August 3-7,2011)! Meredith Wille and Marie Henke, the co-chairs of the 2011 National Committee, are definitely hard at work preparing for this big event! The Specialty really needs your support with trophy sponsorships.
Conformation, obedience, rally, agility, lure coursing, triathlon, PHCA meetings, social events, seminars, health clinics, awards banquet, raffle, picnic, bbq, and more--it'll all be there, and you won't want to miss any part of the 2011 National Specialty.
Whether you will be attending in person, or offering your support from afar, we very much need and value your assistance in sponsoring trophies for our specialty events. The 2011 National Specialty committee has done a magnificent job of putting together a really wonderful and reasonably priced collection of trophies, and because of the variety of events that are being offered, we have many trophies to offer for sponsorship.
Please email me, Rebecca Stephens, (RStephens4@aol.com), as soon as possible to make arrangements for your trophy sponsorship. If you are able to offer sponsorship of multiple trophies, that will be extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. Deadline for contacting me about sponsorship: Thursday, April 7th, 2011.
The annual outpouring of support from members and friends of the PHCA and our breed is always so impressive, and permits our specialty organizers the opportunity to offer unique and prized trophies at our specialties, none of which would be possible without the generosity of so many individuals. Each specialty must raise significant funds for operation, and the success of each specialty is a reflection of the immense generosity of not only funds and sponsorship, but also of cooperative spirit and dedication that is demonstrated by our pharaoh hound community. THANK YOU for all that YOU do, and have done, in creating a legacy and history of successful and lovely Pharaoh Hound specialty events through the years.
As is always the case, we need to develop our trophy sponsorships as soon as possible. Again, please contact me before midnight on Thursday, April 7th, 2011 to communicate your commitment for sponsorship of one or more trophies. I assign the remaining sponsorships in the order in which they are received, by email. If the trophy that you have requested is no longer available for sponsorship when I receive your email, I will reply by email and we can look at alternatives. The deadline for payment of your trophy sponsorships will be Sunday, April 24, 2011.
The trophy list is attached. You'll see that some trophy sponsorships have already been made, indicated by an "x", and many others remain available.
If you wish for your trophy sponsorship(s) to be listed with a notation, that is fine. Please keep in mind the AKC guidelines that specify that trophy sponsorships may be listed in memory of a dog that is now deceased; however, no listings are permitted for dogs that are still living. The suggested format for what will be used in the catalogue is as follows:

After you have emailed me with your requested trophy sponsorships, and I have confirmed your specific trophy sponsorship(s), I will email you with the information about the total amount and to whom your check is to be sent, etc. I'll attach the Trophy Donation Form to that email for you to print out and include with your check.
In addition to trophy sponsorships, there is the opportunity to offer support for the 2011 National Specialty and Supported Entry by making a donation to the 2011 National Specialty General Fund. If you are in a position of being able to do this, we will be most grateful, and again, please email me (RStephens4@aol.com) with that information, and I will confirm that information by return email, and email you the form to include with your donation.
