Siona's Eggs

kristinL568 Oct 11, 2003 04:20 PM

I found a grand total of four. Before I left for the SAT thing, I just buried them & spritzed the sand but I dug them up once I got home. They look pretty good. I hope they hatch. Everybody cross your fingers. = )Kristin

They look pretty good. The biggest one is really soft & squishy. I dunno if that's good or bad or indifferent. They look good though. Here's hoping. ; )

When Chia layed last time all hers were that spongey squishy way (infertile) but give it awhile before you give up on it, never know. Good Luck to ya, Eve

Well they're not spongy. It's just that the shell is really soft. I dunno. Kinda like a zip-loc full of water. It's kinda weird the, the shell's get harder as the eggs get smaller. *shrug*

that were infertile and they were as u described it"soft like water in a ziploc bag"i also get these kind of eggs from my leos sometimes and these also prove to be infertile, although i never throw em out until i know for sure,ie:they smell or go fungussy(is that a word?)so keep it anyway because you will know in a couple of days or not
see yah later

I don't care all that much about the eggs. I'd really like them to hatch & all but if they don't it's nto that big of a deal. I'm glad Siona's ok though. She started eating again which is good. = )
