feeding schedule for armadillo pup??

Hey guys,

I found myself stuck with 2 adorable 9 banded armadillo pups. They are wild and are just now opening thier eyes. I have read to feed them kitten formula, but I have no idea how often to feed it. Any recommendations?

I am personally doing a report on Giant Armadillos, which are pretty similar to 9 banded armadillos, according to the book I am reading. I do know that Giant Armadillos are nocturnal and only eat during the night and I THINK that 9 banded do also. I don't know if you intend to eventually set them free, but if so, after the first few weeks they should already be outside learning how to hunt for their own food. Don't know if that helps but I hope it does!
