I have had my origional chin for about 6 months now making him about 9 months old. Today I got a second chin which is about 4-6 months old. They are both males. The newer chin looks more nervous then the older but was still calm enough to eat some dried fruit from my hand. I have the new chin in the larger cage which the other one has been living in, and put the older one in his former smaller cage.
(the newer one had been eating/nibbling at the paper bedding, I found this to be odd. should I be concerned?)
For the moment I have the two cages next to eachother to get one used to the other. Also I plan on switching the cages on the two in the next week or two. And I have let the older one run around in the room while the younger is in the cage. I was wondering if anyone else has any tips on acclimating the two, or think I am doing something wrong? Thanks.
