Albino Squirrel photos....

I have one that visits the feeders in my yard...that's always a treat for me!

There's also a breeding pair out in the woods where I take my morning dog walk.

What a beauty!

We have a pet albino chipmunk who has lived in our yard for the past 1 1/2 year. He will even sit in my hand to eat peanuts! I worry about him all the time, since he's such a great target for the hawks. I believe he is blind and deaf, having looked closely at his eyes (just cherry-red discs, no pupil or iris visible) and shout at him just inches from him with no response. I've had "chipmunk blinds" built of white lattice to help protect his area.

We're in CT and there is an albino squirrel at a park just 5 minutes from our house, as well.

We're very lucky!

I love the "chipmunk blinds" idea!

I worry about those albinos out in the woods, the area is swarming with hawks and coyote.
