I will do anything to have one of these cuties.I am willing to take him out all the time.I love these guys, but how do i care fro them?

I also have rats,gerbils,cats,dogs,fish,birds,horses,cows,snake,lizards,turtle

First off make sure ferrets are legal where you live.

Ferrets need:

-a spacious cage
-bedding: hammock, pillowcase
-litterbox w/ non clay dust free litter
-laxative for hairball preventative/remover
-ferretone/vitamin supplement
-toys
-water bottle/heavy weight bowls. They like to tip things over.
-vet that treats ferrets
-shampoo/deodorizing spray

and lots of love, care, and patience.

Might I also add that you should keep the ferret away from the rodents. Ferrets eat rodents, they are carnivores (that's why their food kinda smells like dogfood). Be careful when he's out, they're VERY smart, and he WILL find a way to open their cages up!

Wow, that's a lot of critters! Bravo to you for having that kind of ambition and love for animals! I miss my rats, but my dad was too worried about my ferret eating them so he made me give them to a friend where they'd be safe and well cared for.

A very important thing to remember with ferrets is taht they thrive with human companionship. If possible 2 ferrets are better than one they provide company and play time with each other
