Oh yeah, ferret shelter question...

ElusiveKimmaby Aug 06, 2004 12:02 AM

my SPCA kinda sucks. They ONLY have cats and dogs, I've never never ever seen another kind of animal there at all. I even volunteered there a couple times and I know for a fact that's really all they take. Anyone know of any shelter or even a program in the Northern VA area where I could look into ferrets that could be rescued/adopted? I'd love to know, thank yas.

Here's a website that lists shelters around the country. I hope you're able to find one near you.

We're lucky where I live. There are a couple of Humane Societies that take in ferrets. But if owners can't be found, they call one of the 2 ferret shelters in our area and they take them.
