hi i live in san diego ca and i know ferrets are illegal here and i dont mean to kick up dust or start arguments but does anyone know where i can get a Ferret here in CA? im sure you know how i feel. i love these lil creatures and ive wanted one for so long and i hate the fact that they are banned here so I'm gonna try to get one anyways. HELP ME! and lets start a movement to where we take ferrets off the ban list!!! lol well please help me.

You may have to go out of state. That's what I did before they were legal in my state. And depending on the people you know you may need to be quiet about it, too. Do plenty of research on their care, feeding, housing, ferret-proofing, etc. Plus you need to find a vet that is willing to take care of them (and ferret knowledgeable!) even though they are illegal. I had all that set up before I got my 1st ferret.
