Newbie hello/Diet

Hello my fellow ferret friends. I am very happy to find such a wonderful place to chat about my fur babies, and learn and grow as a pet owner. I have 4 ferrets right now. ( I find they are like potato chips- you can't have just one..or two..or three..LOL) I have had ferrets for many years now and though it seems they can have many health issues and short lifes, I don't see me living w/out them. All my ferrets have been rescues. With each one I seem to learn new things, as each ferret is different like us humans and has different personalities and needs. On adopting a ferret from a ferret rescue group, I learned about a different diet. I was wondering if anyone else has hearded of it and or has used it. My ferrets have been on it for some time now and they love it. They seem a lot healther too. It is called Wysong. I get it from a health food store. There are two types, archetypal 1 and 2. 1 is like freeze dryed chucks. Min. protein 50.0% min. fat 28.0% max. fiber 2.8% max moisture 3.0% The crunches is min.protein 35.0% min fat 20.0% max fiber3.0% and max. moisture 12.0% min. taurine 0.30%. So is it good or no? Thanks in advance and sorry for the lenth of this post.

Welcome! Wysong has some really good products. I use the F-Biotic to add extra vitamins & taurine to the soup I make for the fuzz. I tried the original Archetype as well as some of the canned meats on my ferrets about 5 yrs ago. They wouldn't have anything to do with any of it. Mama must cook for her babies! I've thought about trying the ferret Archetypals but I would really like to get a sample before paying $30/lb for it. Plus, the Archtypal 1 only comes in a 1/2lb bag and A2 in a 3lb bag. I usually don't buy anything smaller than 10lb bags. With 8 ferrets I try to buy everything in bulk.
