I just went and checked most of the sub forums listed at the beginning of the ferret page. One of them hasn't had a post since May, 2004! Seems like a waste
time to me! Also, people who are new to ferrets or these forums and go to one of those listings and sees that nothing has been posted for mos. they are very likely to just say "Well, forget this! This list hasn't been active for months!" It is a poor representation of a list that actually is fairly active most of the time. Maybe someone thought this would be a more effectve way to help people but I can tell you that I would probably just never come back with that "apparent" lack of interest in Ferret & their well-being.
As I said- a waste of time.

Nancy, I never thought of it that way. I've looked at other forums for gardening and if they aren't fairly recent, I don't bother going back. Another thing I might add, some of the info in those sub forums may be out of date. I would rather have people see this main forum and post their questions here.
