hello all its been a while since ive posted here. by the way bella is doing great XD. ok this is my problem. are ferrets illegal to own in california. i keep hearing that its just illegal to buy and sell. also my ferret was braught into petsmart(my work) by my girlfriend and a lady walked up to us threatening to call the governers office and the police, telling us that we might as well be smoking pot in petsmart. she then began to yell about how they are a danger to the local wildlife in cali, i had told her that i am a zoology major and already know the dangers. i had also told her that when i was going to purchase it, i had made sure to speak with the vet that had spayed the ferret and obtained the documents as proof. she then proceeded to go on about birds and the threat to them. she then told me to get a manager. she spoke to the manager and it turns out that by speaking to her calmly and giving reason to why i own a ferret and explaining my precautions, i had offended her. did i handle myself in a good manner? im lost on this issue someone enlighten me.
