Has anyone ever used chinchilla dry dust bath for ferrets?

luxury_of_tears0 Jul 29, 2005 05:18 AM

A man who had ferrets at a herp show said that he uses something like this weekly. Seems o.k. to me, but just wanted some other opinions. Thanks.

Ferrets are not chinchillas and do not need dust baths. Any kind of dust is very bad for their respiratory system which is why most people use pelleted litters instead of clay.

Hey. Sorry I haven't been back here in a while. Thanks for the reply, though.
