outdoor cage

Hey guys,

I live in NC where our climate is pretty mild. it snows sometimes in the winter, and gets in the 90's in the extremes of summer. I have been keeping my reptiles in my garage for years with GREAT sucess. pretty much every thing is the same as indoors, except temperatures can be hard to control at times. My question is wouold it be safe for me to keep my ferret in the garage. Nothing can come in and get it, as the garage door is closed most of the day, and it is chemical free.

Thanks,
Andrew

Keep a ferret outside is never a good idea no matter where you live. They are social little critters and need to be with their people and not kept in a garage. If the temp even gets a little too cold or a little too hot you could have a sick ferret on your hands. Keep your fuzzbutts close to you...they are part of your family not just some animal.
