Today, a full grown female ferret ended up under my porch and I don't exactly have much experience with ferrets. She had a large number of fleas, and I treated her with an advantage flea remover for dogs 10 lbs and under, and puppys. I hope it was safe, because she was about to die from all the itching. I'm feeding her an off-brand catfood until tomarrow whenever I can get out and go to a pet store and buy some real ferret food, and what ever else I might need for her. Do ya'll have any advice on caging, feeding, watering, anything will be beneficial to our new found friend if she stays with us and no one claims her. We want to make her stay, or new life a great one.
