ok- please- no body attack me for this.
My husband wants ferrets- badly- he had them growing up and blah blah blah- we've found 2 through a rescue that we will be getting most likely on tuesday.
We foster dogs and have dogs of our own. Our personal dogs are 2 german shepherds and 1 wolf/husky mix. DON'T FREAK OUT YET- (i know- wolves are prey dogs and might kill the ferrets- blah blah blah- she is an outside dog- i couldnt get her in the house for a steak)
We also foster german shepherds.
My question is- how do we introduce ferrets and dogs? My 2 shepherds are great- don't care about much of anything- we have had a few dog to dog problems but new cats or rabbits or anything like that, we havent had a problem.
as for the fosters- its an per-dog situation. the ones i have now are very interested in my cat- she is only 1 and was able to get a shepherd to back away from her with out swinging a paw- she's the 'dog boss'- no questions asked.
I need some advise as to introducing the new dogs to the ferrets and visa-versa.
thanks in advance.
Beth
