HI I WANTED TO KNOW IF IT IS OK TO HAVE JUST ONE GERBIL. IM WILLING TO PLAY WITH IT DAILY SO IT WONT BE BORED . IF IT ISNT OK , IS IT OK TO GET TO MALE GERBILS.WILL IT BE SAFE? PLEASE ANSWER BACK. OR IS IT SAFE TO HAVE 2 FEMALES. I DONT WANT MY GERBILS TO BREED THATS WHY. PLEASE ANSWER BACK .THANK YOU.

I would not reccomend having just one gerbil. Gerbils are social creatures that need to be kept in pairs or groups. They will become extremely depressed if kept alone. If you get your gerbils when they are young then there should be no problem keeping them in pairs of either sex. Good luck!
