We have three female 18 month old gerbils from the same family. We got them when they were babies. They have gotten along wonderfully until today! Today when I got home from work I noticed that two of them were hurt. They are both bloody around their mouths and chin. I'm sure they were fighting, but I'm not sure why and am not sure what to do about it. I am planning to watch to see if they need to be separated. They still seem a little aggressive, just not quite the same "personality" that they used to present. I'd hate to have to put one by itself as they have had each other all their lives. Any suggestions, ideas why they would suddenly "turn" on each other. They have food in their dish and should not need to fight over food.... but.... who knows. Thanks
