well. im gnna sound pretty stupid cause i think i made a big mistake..and now im not sure what to do. okay well me n my 2 sisters all got 3 gerbils at the pet store. and we figured out that one was a female and 2 were male. and we had one HUGE aquarium cage for them all..so we kept them together for a bit. and we wanted to breed the female once and then seperate her from the other two males. we planned to keep her with one of her female babies so she wasnt lonley and give the rest to homes that we had already had planned out..well i had been checking on her everyday and nothing seemed to change..and then i went to my dads for a weekend came back and there was one newborn baby gerbil. and i kno one newborn doesnt normally survive but well its still alive now. and we didnt kno what to do. because the bedding in the cage was cedar and i kno thats bad for gerbils we were gnna change it b4 the baby was born but we didnt have a chance. so i just took the female gerbil and her baby and one of the males who i thought was the father and put them all togther in a different cage with the good bedding. and there all doing fine. but now i dont know what to do. because i have one male gerbil in a HUGE cage all on his own. and the other male and female who i dont plan on breeding again togther in a cage with the baby. and im hoping that maybe i could reintroduce the 2 males by like serperating the cage with wire and letting them get eachothers scents or whatever. but i dont kno what to do. please help. thank you for your time.
