New Gerbils! HELP QUICK!

AFireInside90183 Jan 16, 2005 05:14 PM

Hello, I am just about ready to get a pair of gerbil's, but I am having difficulty finding information on what sex of gerbils do good in pairs. Now, I don't planon breeding my gerbils, so I know that a male and a female aren't good together if I don't want little gerbil babies around, haha. But I
m not sure if male and male go good together, or female and female. PLEASE HELP!

Thanks,
Lisa

PS- Please leave a comment because I need to know pretty soon! Thanks a lot!

Two females will generally do better than two males. However, if the cage is big enough, and the two males are familiar with each other, and there is no female present, two males can do ok. Good luck!
