Hey all, it's me with the fat bunny!
He is slowly un-gatting himself as I have brought him down to the recommended 1/4 a day of pellets hay and VERY occasional little bites of fruits and veggs.
He was a whopping 4 lbs when I posted asking about the poopies on his bum and you all sed he was too fat to clean himself. He is now about 3 1/3 lbs and going down, and within the apst month i havnt seen a single but-clog yet!

Thanks all for the help with my obese cutie-pops and good luck with all of you rabbit mishaps and medical probs that tend to pop up among bunnies.

Btw he is an all-black dwarf bunny-wabbit.

For doing such a great job and losng all his weight like a good bunny , WE recognize him as BEST BUNNY, this week!

It was very difficult for him, and his little bottom is nice and clean now, and smells pretty, because he is slim enough to wash it! LOL

Congratulations, for all your hard work, and not getting treats, we know it was TOUGH !

But you stayed on your diet with your MOM's Help because she loves you, your such a GOOD BUNNY !

YOU deserve a big BUNNY HUG AND KISS and maybe even a little treat, hehehehe.

I'll post a new pic of him soon, my hd just had to get reformatted (stupid viruses...) and I haven't been able to figure out hwo to upload my old pics from the back-up CD.

You guys are much friendlier than on the chameleon forum! I spend most of my time there as far as animal forums go. The only thing about being in the reptil community is that the worst/meanest/craziest of us get reptiles if we get a pet, and then go on the chameleon forum.

I am very surprised at how much weight he lost considering I still fed him small treats, like say, a single spinach leaf every couple days, or a few bites of my apple once in a while. I was letting him out to run around the house for 4 or 5 hours at a time instead of 30 mins to 2 hours. This was hard beacuase of the now pee-stained floor (I haven't gotten my hands on some kitty litter as of yet).

Thanks again you guys, my bunny is as cute as ever and is much happier not having to have the fur ripped or cut off of his bottom!

Btw, mom is a 15-year old guy .

Hey I know what you saying about the reptiles people being crazy, hehehe, also a GREAT bunch, I'm ONE also !

I have alot of lizards and frogs, you will have to check em out when you have time. I'm a NICE, Happy, reptile person, LOL

Glad your bunny is on the way to being healthier and happy and having a CLEANER BUM as you put it !

Sorry for calling you a she too ! Forgive me, we can now talk bunnies AND lizards.
