Hey Folks,
I recently built an 8'X8'X7'6" shed for a sheep, but if we can't get another sheep soon to quiet Her down, we'll have to give her back. So I'm possibly stuck with a decent sized shed and I figure this could be a great opportunity to do something about my love for rabbits. I have had one rabbit, Mungo, the Mini-Rex, one year in about 6 days! Everything has gone well with her. She's right here beside me now. I was looking at Flemish Giants and British Giants, though, and I think I would like some of those size rabbits. I live in Atlantic Canada (Cape Breton, Nova Scotia) and the winters here are pretty cold. I was wondering how many (if any) let's say British Giants could I fit in that size shed? Would they survive in there all winter? (We have snow here 4-6 months a year!) I live on 2 acres, lots of dandilions and no chemicals, I put Mungo on a harness and a leash and take her outside often, I could do the same thing with more rabbits. Any information would be much appriciated, if British Giants wouldn't work, are there any giants that would?
