should I get a rabbit?

Rusti Aug 11, 2004 05:17 PM

I'm thinking about getting a rabbit, but I dont know if I should. Maybe some information would help me out.

are they messy?
are they expensive?
what temperature should they be kept in?
what size cage?
how long do they live?
do they tend to get sick often?
are they noctournal?
would they stink up my room?
do they tend to bite?
can you train them to use a litterbox?
can you take them on 'walks' (like around the house)?
do you have to clean them or do they clean themselves?
how often do you have to clean their cage?
can they have problems with overeating?

well I appreciate your help and advice!

you should do some reading first and then decide.

They are great little pets, but yes, they take time, and care, and love and deserve a person willing to devote those things to them.

Here is a good site, alot of good info that will help you in your decision.
