hey everyone i haven't been here for a long time. my bunny missy had her litter back in febuary and they all went to good homes and are all healthy, except for the baby i kept, i named him bandit, unfortunately last month he died. it was so upsetting, missy quit eating and i cried for days. after a while i got a new bunny named Brandy she looks exactly like bandit did, the same night i got her home missy got out of her cage while i was playing with brandy and attacked brandy!! i was so upset i tried to break them up and missy turned on me and made a huge gash in my hand which still has not healed completely it got down to my nerves and muscles. anyways i went out of town and my mom was taking care of them she accidently slid the cages to close together and missy attacked brandy again through the cage! i don't know what to do..everyone in my family is scared to get missy out ever since bandit died and i got brandy shes been really really mean to all of us, i know there is a territory thing but will they ever get along and how do i get missy to be nice again?

you have been having with the bunnies. I'm sad her baby Bandit died also.

You sure have been having a tough time, getting in the middle of bunny fights, and getting hurt. Hope you heal from that.

Well as you NOW know if the rabbits have not been brought up together, like sibblings, then they WILL fight.

Two females who are not neutured will FIGHT. One will always try and show dominace over the other. In this case it is Princess.

Here is some info on trying to bond bunnies, but let me warn you it does suggest getting them fixed.

And it takes time to get them to accept one another. BUT you NEVER do it in one or the others cage, must be a neutral place.

I do wish you the best, with this problem. I suppose you have to have them neutered, or atleast Princess.

Or if worst comes to worst, put the new bunny in a different place so Princess can't even see her anymore.

Let us know how everything turns out
