rabbit social problem

hi, we have 4 rabbits, 3 males, 1 female. the female was getting along more-or-less with 2 of the males until we got the 3rd(a baby), and the newcomer was almost immediately attacked by the female, though the 2 males liked him right away. now the baby is almost fully grown, and the roles are reversed, he is constantly attacking now, and the others started too. we've separated the female, but all 3 males keep trying to get into her room. 1 male is neutered, but even he attacks the female. any ideas on how we might try to help them get along?

The female rabbit is also spayed, correct? If not, I highly suggest you get that done. Besides the fact that it helps introductions, unspayed female rabbits over the age of 2-3 years old have an 85% chance, or higher, of getting uterine cancer, cysts, or pyometra. The usual unspayed female lives about 3-5 years, but if they're altered, they can live into their teens.

Also, neuter the other 3 boys. Trying to introduce unaltered animals 99.9% of the time never works. Sometimes, they can get along at first, but hormones WILL kick in, and they will start fighting.

Alter the 3 males and female, and try again. With them unaltered, you will get no where.
