you can buy colorful dragons from $30 to $1000. I am not going to say that all the $30 dragons were inbred, raised by people running a dragon mill or that the babies are runts or not old enough to ship safely...
Just remember be careful who you buy from. Pay a little more and buy from a reputable breeder that will stand behind his dragons after he ships it. Look for names from this forum that you recognize and that post often. They are more likely to be around when you need them.
Visit some websites and learn as much as you can first then you can make an educated purchase.
