zoolady Apr 08, 2005 06:14 PM

AHah, my male looks pretty funny right now. The lady I got the bunnies from had cut the males fur short with SCISSORS, and buzzed the female. The females fur is growing in evenly, but the males is all choppy and he looks so funny. But I will ge tpics of it eventually. YOu know I am good for pics.

with pics, like me with all my lizard pics everyday :P

I have to take more of my Bunny !

Why would the previous owner have buzzed their fur? Was it matted or something, and it was just easier? LOL

I can't wait to see photos! I had a white angora when I was younger. He was one of the coolest bunnies I've had.

Ok, to arn you, I am a bit tipsy right now So if this dont make sense... lol
Anyhow, I am not sure why she buzzed the angoras. I think it had something to do with her daughter..... But hat doesnt make sense... Maybe she was too lazy to groom them or somthing. So she buzzed the fur so she would nt have to . I know she told me. But I cannot for the life of me remember what she said. grrr.
But I think it was a grooming issue. most likey. Since I cannot think of any other logical reason for it.

You are talking about angoras right ... quite a few people breed them for their fur .. and buzz cut them like sheep for the fibers(AKA fibers).

Now i don't know if the previous owner was wanting the fur or not, but supposedly its very disirable, for yarn .
