Help! Babies!

kulkat Apr 20, 2005 11:17 AM

I just got a Dwarf Hotot from a farm auction on Sunday.
This morning my daughter mentioned how "Spice" was really shedding alot, so today at lunch time I decided to check on her like I usually do. (She's outside). I noticed the full white hair in the back part of the cage and noticed the hair was moving. Yeah, babies!! Lots of them. What do I have to do?

Thats SWEET ! They are cute little bunnies, the girl ya got. Seems you got a real bargan many bunnies for the price of one, heheheheheh LOL

Usually leave Mom do her thing. Unless you would notice her NOT bothering with them, or any hurt. I'm going to give you this link, scroll down to " The Birth" and just read a bit

Hope it helps, if not just holler, we will be here!

Best wishes for Mommy Bunny & her new babies! AND YOU TOO !

You didn't say, but I hope that you put a nesting box or cornered off the cage. If the babies have too much room to move around, they will not be able to stay warm and mom will not care for them.

sorry to just jump in here like this but this is a big thing.

Have fun with your new babies.

The mama did corner them into the "corner", and they are all so warm when I see them. They are doing pretty good.
