Rescued bunny help needed

Jasonr39 Jan 16, 2007 02:00 AM

Hey,

I just brought home a tiny little baby bunny. It was "rescued" from somewhere in downtown LA and brought into my pet store. They told me it's a dwarf but not sure. It fits into the palm of my hand. I have it in a 2x2 C&C cage and have water, pellets and alfafa hay available for it to eat. He also ate a little lettuce this morning but doesn't really eat the hay or pellets. I'm worried that he still needs to be bottle fed? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, how much do they sleep normally?

Thanks

You should really call a rabbit rescue or a rebbit savvy vet.
I dont know where you're located but heres a number of a local rescue near me. Its the BunnyBunch at 909-548-0034, or go on their web site www.bunnybunch.org
