My Hamster, a Syrian, had one VERY squeaky wheel. So squeaky, to the point corn oil was administered to stop the noise. That was Wednesday night. That night, he was fine, but repeatitively licked the oil off the wheel. It was'nt too much oil at all, but I was still worried about using this oil. Well, come thursday night, he only comes out once, and that is when I woke him. He was very jittery thurs. afternoon, but lethargic on thurs. night. Friday night, he was found dead, curled under his house. He was perfectly healthy wednesday, so I am suspecting the corn oil. Could it have been the oil? Please help!
