You do not mention if they are Syrian or dwarf hamsters. If they are Syrians, they should not be living together. Syrians must be kept in separate cages. If they are dwarfs, they can be kept together, as long as they live peacefully. Syrian females will give birth approximately 16 days after being bred. If they are Syrians, and they live in one cage, separate immediately. Even if they seem to live together happily, that could change in an instant. One or both could be injured, usually fatally if they start to fight. If you intend to breed hamsters, you may want to start educating yourself about breeding, genetics, care, housing, possible vet bills, nutrition, finding homes for, etc. concerning the best for the hamsters already in your care, and those in your future care.

Obviously they're Syrians, there's no such thing as a long haired dwarf.
