I bought albino dwarf hamsters from the store, 10 days later I have 8 additional hamsters. They were born Oct 3. the male has been very diligent in assisting the mom with the babies. How long before I need to remove the male? How long before the female will be fertile again? This was not expected so I plan on separating the male from the female. Any pointers on the babies?

you should take the male away right away. do not touch the babies you should wait about 3-4 months until breeding her again.
