I go to college out of state and left my hampster (who isn't 2 yet) at home with my parents for 2 weeks till I finished my semester. I just came home today and picked up my hampster..only one of his eyes would open. I thought it was just a waking up thing..but after 20 minutes it still didn't open. What do I do? What is wrong with him?! Please someone help me!

calm down cute its fine... hammies often get gluey eye. if i bit of dust from the bedding gets in their eye waters to get it out...just like ours. its more common with babies who havent learnt to groom carefully yet. just get a cotton wool bud, damp it with warm water and wipe accross eye, if need be u can gently pull eye open and then wipe, or just leave hammie to clean self, so long as not bumping into anything he be fine.
