I have a pair of hamsters of different types. One's a golden hamster and one's a really fluffy brown and white one with big eyes. Maybe a teddy. He really wants to mate with her, but she usually gives him the cold shoulder. Is it hopeless? Or can they breed? I think they may have mated. Should i expect a ltter?

teddy bear hamsters are techncally still syrian, if thats what u mean by golden hamsters, its just another term used to seperate the diffrent variations within the breed. if they do mate they will either concieve or not. if they are of different spiecies i doubt they will, mother nature knows best if they arent then maybe babies... its up to u if u want pups...
