VERY SERIOUS HAMSTER ILNESS. SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY!

asmodeusDOTnet Dec 14, 2003 01:35 PM

My hamsters have wierd bulges on them, they look almost like pimples but they're black or dark grey. They're UNDER the skin and they seem to have a tiny spot that looks like a blackhead. When they're small they can be popped and it looks just like a whitehead being popped. But when they're larger it's harder. We can't figure out what it is, it started with one hamster and it's now spread to the others. Has anyone had this problem? 3 hamsters have died after starting to get these at this point. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

You can email me at moo@asmodeus.net, if you do, please put Hamster Problem in the the subject line.
