igot my hamster on may 9th 2004 and i made a nesting place for him/her and him/her took it as its nesting place then after a day it didnt sleep in it and dint go in it and stated sleeping in a corner my questions are

1.is this normal for it to sleep in other parts of the cages?

2.do i even need one?

3.should i make another and place in another part of the cage?

4.what exactly are nesting places used for by hamsters
