Buldging Hamster eyes

PeachyMama Jun 14, 2004 12:22 PM

Hello-

I have a hamster named Peaches, who is approaching 2 years of age. She's a very active, everything is completely normal about her except for her eyes.

I've noticed them to be buldging and much bigger than normal.

I've had many hamsters in the past, the last one had the same thing and I never knew what it was, only that she was getting up there in age when it happened too.

I was told it could be glaucoma?

Does anyone know anymore about this?

Thanks!

Could be glaucoma, could be cancer, could be a fungal infection, could be a host of things. correct diagnosis of the problem would need an exam from a veterinarian.
