Some heartless freak tossed a baby hamster into a box last night in my building and discarded them like garbage. No mom in sight. I scooped it up and have been feeding it small drops of milk, some fruit bits and crackers. I estimate this guy is maybe 8-10 days old? I am not sure but its eyes are still closed and it has already developed fur. It's moving on its own and sniffing around.
Can anyone please give me tips and hints for caring for this guy? Otherwise I could just drop it off at a Petco or something.
