Is it possible to tame a Robo?

Z007 Sep 15, 2005 01:43 AM

I got a Robo recently and slowly he's been getting confortable with his new place and with my hand. he comes and eats treats from my hand. Sometimes i raise my hand up and he's been pretty much ok, although sometimes that scares him off and he jumps out right when i have both hands together and try to handle him. I have heard that they are almost impossible to tame because they are so shy and hyper. Is that true? Am i ever gonna be able to handle my robo or not really? How should i go by handling him? should i just grab him or keep doing what i'm doing until he gets confortable enough if he evr does? I will greatly appreciate any advice on any experiences with robos. Thanks

I am familiar with your problem.
I had a robo, and it always bit me when
I tried to touch it.It was always hiding too. Just keep giving it treats and petting it, but if you try to pick it up to soon. It will remember that experience for a while. Just keep giving it snacks and stuff. You can also sit in the bath tub on a towel, and let it run around freely. This will get it used to you. I have heard once they get used to you, you have to practically peel them off your hand to put them down.
