I've found this so far http://www.skinhorse.net/gliders/
It has a breeder listed as selling them for $130 each and there's this site http://www.sugarglider63.com/rightpet.htm that tells you if they are legal in your state but it didnt give me much info besides that. I'm still confused what they eat. So far I think they eat about everything but aside from they need alot of protein and calcium I can't find much in the way of basic diet to give them. Not like hamsters and gerbils which you just buy a mix and then supplement if needed. I did find out they have a lifespan up to 16yrs so it's a fairly large commitment to get one unlike other small animals I've had that live only 2-4 yrs.
I have a blue tongue skink that will live 20-25 years so lol thats a big commitment.
I want something that lives long and also is a bit smarter than things like my gerbils and duprasi. It's kind of sad to think Rasheeka and Amur have lived out nearly half their life already. In another year I doubt I'll be seeing many babies and Amur won't be leaping 2ft straight up to get out of his cage or playpen. Hopefully they'll live a long time for gerbils but eventually no Rasheeka rushing up to my hand to look it over for sunflower seeds and then get mad at me if I'm empty handed. But I won't miss the midnight escapes from the cages and replacing chewed up toys or tubes lol
I have 3 blueys!!! And I think I have you all beat with my tort!! were lookin at almost 100 yrs!!!!

I found a chatroom for sugar gliders and there were ppl there even at 2 am lol. www.thsugarpouch.com
