I'm acting a foster/rescue for a glider it seems. This will be my first glider, and although I don't have the glider in my posession yet, I have some info.

The guy reecently moved to Boston. His mate died reecently, so he's been very anti-social. (The glider, I mean. I refer to the glider as him, I'm not sure if it's male/female) Gliders are illegal in Massachusetts, so getting another partner isn't an option. The part that alarmed me is that he said he's recently been acting weak. Any suspicions? My first thought was parasites, so a fecal is in order. I'm figuring the stress of the move let the parasite count go way up.

Hi there
have you gotten the glider yet. When you were saying about the weakness I would be concerned about hind leg paralysis. Calcium is so important for these little ones and if they are deprived of it for any length of time it can become a serious problem. There is a diet called the BML diet (Bourbons' Modified Leadbeaters diet) which is a good all around diet and addresses the calcium very well. If you have him now , does he have a good grip with both front and back feet?
Well I wish you and your suggie very good luck
