I have heard of people putting the cages close together and over time they may get along. Remember that these animals to stay in groups in the wild. Of course it is much easier if they are raised together. You might think about a fixed male as well. Good luck!
It is best to introduce them slowly. You need to quarantine the new glider for about 30 days to be sure she has no illness to pass along. During that time- swap pouches & toys amonst them so they get use to each other's scent. After the quarantine stage- slowly start to introduce them. A double bonding pouch would be great- they know each other is there but your there to be sure they get along
Hi, Im new here but have been joined in Glidercentral.net for years.
As for the quarentine, it doesn't make much sense to keep them seperate but to switch pouches which can carry bacteria also......
if you are even going to quarentine (which if you got the glider from a reputable breeder you probably have no reason to do, i have never done it and mine are fine) you shouldnt even switch pouches untill after the 30 days. After quarentine, you can set their caged about 4-5 inches apart from each other, switch pouches, etc. But remember, if one is dominant or aggressive towards the other in any way WASH your hands and maybe change cloths after playing/handling the other, or you may get bit :0/. Hope this helps
