Sugar Bullies

Hey i was owndering what to do i have 3 males and a female that have been together for life and i was wondering if it is normal for sugar gliders to have a pecking order or a hierchy in which the more dominant eat first she is pregnant so i am not sure if she just does not want to eat or if she is being bullied please help

Well your first problem is ...3 males, 1 female. Together for life or not, this is a problem. Unless you have 2 NEUTERED males. The males will be fighting over the female, which stresses her out. The constant mating of 3 males on her is much to handle. The stress could cause her not to eat. You need to pick one male, whichever you see her most happy with perhaps. And remove the other two. They will not get depressed over it. The males will still have each other and the female and male will have each other. It wont matter if he;s the dad or not. All that matters is those other males are out of the territory and not stressing her out. It would be like a gang bang on a human female.....not a happy situation. If you don't remove the other males, she and her babies could die. Hope this helps.
