couple of things i just got, and thought i would share....first of all, does everyone know that gliders play an awful lot like tiny cats??? crazy little freaks! i got them a cat toy that kinda looks like a fishing pole with a toy and a tiny bell on the end? holy crap, do they love that thing! they're starting to hear the bell and come running! gotta say, though, the only thing i would change about it, is to NOT have an elastic cord. my girls grab the toy, and then run off with it....i'm waiting for somebody's eye to be put out when either they let go of it, or it breaks. or they're gonna only get so far away and then be flung back across the room gripping a cat toy. funny for me---probably not so much for them.
the best one though, is an ikea mesh organizer. i bought the small one, and put it in their cage. it's cylindrical, mesh, and has 3 compartments. i think it's called the minifangskt organizer. anyway, it's right in the middle of their cage, and the bottom section, i put a couple of toys, the middle section, i put some treats, to encourage them to check it out, and the top section, i filled up with carefresh bedding, and they use that now, instead of their sleepy sacks! they burrow right in, and under. i'm gonna put a sleepy sack back in, to see which they actually prefer, but i think they're liking this thing. it looks pretty cool in their cage, and they come in a bunch of different colors, too! very neat!
