My friend just bought a mouse and she believes its pregnant. She also bought another female mouse which isn't pregnant. She wants to know if she has to seperate them, and, if so, when?

No, they don't have to be separated at all.
Agreed. They should not have to be seperated. In fact, the other female will probably help with the babies. Just make sure she keeps an eye on them, in case the other female has an overinflated sense of maternal instinct. If she steals the babies and doesn't let the mother nurse, then you may have to have them seperated, but that's a very rare scenario.
Thanks!!
