I'm fairly new to the mouse world, and I don't know that much, but I have three mice. I took them all to the vet when one was sick, and she weighed them. Two of them, Annie and Speckle, are small, and they both weigh 20g each. The third one, Cinnamon, is a little hefty, and she actually weighs 41g. I don't know how old my mice are for sure, (we're thinking about 4 months or so), but the vet didn't seem overly concerned about any of their weights, except she did comment on Cinnamon being twice as big as the others. So I would assume that it's fine for you to have a small mouse. As long as your sure she's getting enough to eat and otherwise seems healthy, I personally wouldn't be overly concerned.
