9 Out Of 12 Babies Left

I counted this morning and 1 more went missing... and the one that was gone was my favorite of all, the only lilac in the litter. I still have 7 blacks and 2 browns and they are now 9 days old so I doubt (hope) no more will be eaten. I was so surprised that she ate the one lilac, maybe because it stood out from the rest and she thought it wouldn't survive because of that. I will breed her again after these babies are weaned but first I have to acquire another male. Does anyone know of any fancy mouse breeders on the East Coast? Thanks

I proved myself wrong. I gave her two white babies from another litter and she adopted them into her "family". All of them are nursing and perfectly healthy so the lilac must have been sick or something.
