New Mousies!!

katie8 Sep 22, 2004 03:01 PM

Hi, Every one! It was my b-day yesterday and as a birthday present I got to pick out one (*cough-cough*-3)mouse. I noticed that when I got them home, there was almost like a rice-shaped grain or to on and inside thier poops. Could this be worms??
Ps- I am quarantining them- don't worry!!!

Most parasites are too small to see with the naked eye however there are some that like that but I can't recall the name. It could also be bits of undigested food. The only way to know for sure is to take one or all mice to a vet...I am sure they will poo enough on the way, to get a fecal done. If the mice were all housed together when you bought them, chances are they are all infected if it is parasites.
