Inner Ear Infection

herperboy Nov 15, 2004 08:46 PM

Is there any cure for an inner ear infection that is reasonably cheap. I need to know whether or not attempt to save her. Also, I was wondering how long she can live without it being treated because she is about to have babies, and would like to attempt to wait for her to have them before I put her down. I have other mothers I can give them to.
Thanks

Andrew

Far as I know the only treatment for inner ear infection is anti-biotics prescribed by a vet. It's possible the mouse will be fine long enough to have her babies and even nurse them. Because she is pregnant, it may not be a good ideal to give her any medicine till after she has weaned the babies as it may harm the babies themselves.
