I went on vacation and left my mouse with a friend. I got back and she told me that my mouse suddenly died with plenty of food and water. Any ideas what happened?

Anything could've happened. Do you know the temperature of the room? She could've died from anything. Heat stroke, stress, old age, maybe even internal organ failure or problems that you didn't know she had.
