Brreding Question

Do you think it would be ok to breed a domestic mouse with a deer mouse? The domestic mouse would be the father and the deer mouse would be the mother. I have another post titled "Lost Mouse" that talks more about the deer mice. I just figured it would be cute to see what the pups looked like.

Deer mice and domesticated mice are not genetically compatable (or at least I am quite sure they are not) so even if they do 'breed' no offspring would be produced.
